Fund Administration Manager (PE/RE)

The New Business team has a wide range of roles and responsibilities, our team’s goal is to maximize the client onboarding experience while strengthening State Street’s control environment. The Fund Administration Manager NBTO is responsible for pricing, i.e. preparing fee proposals together with Sales people, and coordinating with the operational teams the onboarding of various types of Private Equity & Real Estate PERE) vehicles, whether regulated or unregulated, within the EMEA region. This role requires a high level of verbal and written English communication, team interaction and the ability to work with remote teams in other locations (Ireland & Poland).

  • Daily tracking of multiple action items to completion
  • Creation of and reporting to Senior Management, i.e. develop and present fee proposals for review and approval
  • Assisting Sales people with new business pricing requests (e.g. requests for proposal)
  • Provide overall project management for client related initiatives. Act as a liaison between business units to ensure successful implementation. Manage internal and client expectations
  • Ensure that that a high degree of control and risk excellence is demonstrated throughout the client onboarding phase through regular updates of tracking data and Senior Management Feedback
  • Ensure all processes are in line with global procedures and policies and escalate if necessary
  • Participate in special client or internal projects as required
  • Will have direct management responsibility of staff
  • Deadline- and detail-oriented; ability to work in a fast-paced, structured and team-based environment, as well as independently
  • Candidates must have at least a Bachelor’s Degree with at least four years of relevant work experience
  • Ability to take ownership/responsibility of projects until their successful implementation andto present the outcomes to all levels of management
  • Ambitious with a strong work ethic
  • Experience and/or knowledge in all aspects of the PERE Fund Administration is preferable, i.e. accounting, financial reporting, investor services, corporate secretarial functions
  • Experience in staff management,i.e. efficient supervision and contribution to the professional development of the supervised persons
  • Fluent in English and French; German would be considered as a strong advantage
