Corporate Services Manager - Private Equity & Real Estate

Citco Fund Services is a division of the Citco Group of Companies and is one of the largest independent administrators of Alternative Investment Funds in the world with offices, amongst others, in Amsterdam, Bahamas, Bermuda, Cayman Islands, Cork, Curacao, Dublin, Halifax, London, Luxembourg, Malvern, Miami, New York/New Jersey, Toronto, San Francisco, Singapore and Sydney.

About You

The ideal candidate will have hands-on Private Equity and/or Real Estate Funds and SPV specific company secretarial or legal expertise.  In addition they will have demonstrated capabilities in managing a team of legal and corporate secretarial staff and an administrative function of multiple cross jurisdiction fund structures (Investment Funds and SPVs).

Main Job Functions/Tasks

  • Manage the Legal / Company Secretarial function in Luxembourg
  • Oversee CoSec services delivered from certain other European offices to establish best practice and improve efficiencies & communication
  • Ensure uniformity in processes & team structures and management in Luxembourg and the specific offices indicated above
  • Manage and monitor the timing and quality of the team’s client deliverables
  • Interact with senior management and manage overall relationships for multiple clients
  • Provide technical and industry knowledge to clients and internally
  • Enhance current servicing levels, deliver beyond client expectations
  • Establish and manage plans for new client setup and transitions
  • Team resource planning
  • Coordinate with Accounting group, Tax group, and Investor Relations groups internally
  • Liaise with auditors, lawyers, notaries and other professional external parties
  • Ensure an effective training and development plan is in place for the Legal/CoSec staff
  • Develop management & technical skills of managers
  • Provide support to the managers, assisting them to effectively deal with staff and resource issues
  • Create an environment that motivates rewards & supports staff
  • Budget preparation & manage costs within the department
  • Ensure full adherence & implementation of the corporate & local risk policies, manage & minimize claims
Education, Qualifications and Experience
  • 12+ years Private Equity and/or Real Estate Fund company secretarial or legal experience
  • Knowledge of accounting would be preferable
  • Strong leadership skills and supervisory experience of other professionals
  • Project management skills with attention to detail and proven ability to multi-task
  • Proficient in  English, both written and verbal communication,
  • Advanced computer skills
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Law or an equivalent Company Secretarial qualification preferred
