Key Account Manager Ref: HTH_4

We are a Tier 1 automotive company with more than 2000 employees globally servicing major OEM customers. Our innovative products range includes power train cooling and AC systems.

A key milestone in our global expansion was reached through the recent set up of our Luxembourg office located in Bascharage, which is now growing rapidly to become an Industry leader in Europe.

To accompany our expansion, we are looking to recruit a Key Account Manager Ref: HTH_4

The role

  • Develop and maintain strategic business relationships with customers
  • Gain in depth understanding of the current and future needs of target accounts and develop and implement medium and long-term account plans to realize the potential
  • Travel to customer sites and build customer relationships to form a deep understanding of the customer and their requirements
  • Ensure customer satisfaction through timely completion of all customer requests and enquiries
  • Initiate program management plan activity upon receipt of customer RFQ and oversee new projects through review processes
  • Coordinate new program launches
  • Serve as initial point of contact for all support and problem solving to customers
  • Seek and share knowledge of emerging opportunities with new customers
  • Prepare and submit customer quotations for new programs and for changes/updates to existing programs
  • Ensure compliance with customers’ requirements and the company’s policies by working closely with the engineering team
  • Formulate strategies for strengthening assigned accounts and maximising the company’s potential to establish business partnerships

Profile and experience

  • University degree in engineering
  • 5 plus (5+) years relevant experience within the Automotive sector

Skills and abilities

  • Strong knowledge in Thermal/HVAC products related to the automotive sector
  • Resourceful to manage multiple projects
  • Customer focused – maturity and diplomacy
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Fluent in English is a must, German and French language are considered as definite advantage
  • Flexibility to travel, primarily in Europe and Asia (more than 50% of the job holder time)
