ABN AMRO Life S.A. wishes to recruit a motivated professional for the following position (f/m)

LIFE Insurance – Technical Officer Back-Office Investments (CDD – 12 Months)

Your main responsibilities will be:
- Support Back Office Officers by providing a daily technical support ;
- In charge of the different integration tasks and automation process in collaboration with IT team ;
- Contribute to the development of Back Office activities and in the processes optimization ;
- Operate within the Back Office Investments departments activities:
     - Analysis of securities and correct application of CAA requirements ;
     - Analysis / follow up  and update of portfolio’s investment risk profiles ;
     - Monthly valorisation of dedicated funds, justification of significant differences and injection in internal system through interface ;
     - Daily input of the depositary banks account statements, transactions in securities and currency quotations and monthly cash and securities reconciliation process ;
     - Control of investment proposals from advisory asset managers, orders management and follow-up ;
     - Follow-up of requests on transactions, valuations, costs, insurance policy events (new subscriptions, additional payments, partial and total surrenders)  and by informing them of all corporate events ;
     - Insure collaboration with and support to the other internal departments esp. during the end of month closing process ;
     - Participation through production of reports from the internal system, in collaboration with the team leader, to the quarterly CAA reporting.

Your Profile :
- Have a good knowledge in Technical operations environment ;
- Ability to adapt and evolve in multi system environments ;
- Have strong knowledge on Excel and Access (VBA) ;
- Have basic knowledge in SQL language ;
- Fluent in English and French ;
- Skills for problems solving, ability to react quickly and a pro-active attitude ;
- Developed oral and written communication skill and a good ability to understand client’s needs ;
- Your Knowledge in Life insurance or Bank Back-Office Investments, in financial instruments and applicable regulations related to securities and investment limits, and in Soliam Software are a real advantage ;
- Be able to manage high quantitative service level with high quality standards ;
- Be used to work with deadlines and company’s procedures
