System Administrator (m/f)

The Opportunity

Primary purpose of the Position:
  • Provide end-users support for the various technologies utilized within the Proactive Solutions' portfolio. Work with internal and external parties to coordinate and follow-up on system-related requests.
  • Ensure that the data is entered consistently so that it will meet reporting needs. Check that all relevant records in different systems and update whenever appropriate. Act as a second line support for troubleshooting.
  • Manage/perform material programming, configuration and on-time availability.
  • Lead finding most efficient and effective means to execute tasks. Coordinate, present and support continuous improvement processes and implement corrective and preventive measures.
Principle duties and responsibilities:
  • Provide excellent level of customer service to callers, by providing them with appropriate and prompt support. Executes the customer setting in a web-based system and update whenever necessary. Documents tasks or issues until resolution in dedicated ticketing system
  • Act as 2nd line technical support, coordinate troubleshooting activities, ensure internal follow-up and reporting. Communicate effectively and proactively with business users, support teams, technology providers and all stakeholders
  • Provide customers with standard and ad hoc data, metrics and reporting on an ongoing basis. Provide high quality editing and formatting for all program related documents
  • Identify, recommend, and implement technological solutions to meet the operational needs.
  • Assist customers with system understanding and training, including training material and tutorials
To join our team you will need:

Profile:

Education: A-Level Degree. Study in Computer Science or a related field or Information Technology.

Experience: 
Studies in Computer Science or Information Technology.
IT related experience with systems administration and troubleshooting.
Understanding of web-based technologies, especially server skills and associated server tasks (content management).
Communication skills necessary to train users of varying experience levels.
Ability to accurately explain situations to others using information systems language and terms.
Ability to multi-task and achieve results in a high volume environment.

Knowledge and Skills:

Self-driven and strong entrepreneurial skills
Able to plan with different parties and execute against plan
Language: English and German. Any other language is an asset
